Prof. Łukasz Wordliczek

Prof. Łukasz Wordliczek

 

Łukasz Wordliczek: associate professor at the Institute of American Studies and Polish Diaspora, Jagiellonian University, Ph.D. in political science (2002). He teaches courses mainly on U.S. and Polish political systems and foreign policy. He is the author, co-author and editor of nine books, several dozen articles and conference papers on relations between technology and politics, non-state actors, public policy and political science methodology. He is a member of the International Studies Association, Polskie Towarzystwo Studiów Międzynarodowych (Polish International Studies Association), International Political Science Association, European Consortium for Political Research, Central European International Studies Association, and Polskie Towarzystwo Nauk Politycznych (Polish Political Science Association). Prof. Wordliczek has been supervising and reviewing over 200 B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. dissertations. He also received twice the Jagiellonian University’s Rector award. Prof. Wordliczek is also managing the Polish branch of the Comparative Agendas Project. While not researching and teaching, he may be met exploring places off the beaten tracks countryside or contemplating European painting masterpieces.
