Dr Agnieszka Stasiewicz-Bieńkowska, dr nauk humanistycznych, absolwentka interdyscyplinarnych studiów doktoranckich w zakresie studiów amerykańskich (Wydział Studiów Międzynarodowych i Politycznych UJ). Studia i projekty badawcze realizowała m.in. w USA, Szwecji, Niemczech i Australii. Stypendystka Dagmar and Nils William Olsson Fellowship (Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center, Augustana College, Rock Island, Ill., USA), Instytutu J.F. Kennedy’ego przy Freie Universität w Berlinie oraz Griffith University w Brisbane, Australia. Uczestniczka międzynarodowych projektów badawczych „Letting the Wrong One In: Hospitality, Rape and Consent in Vampire Popular Culture” (2014-2017), „Negotiating Cultural Differences in the Digital Communication Era” (Narodowe Centrum Nauki; grant HARMONIA) oraz „Approaching War: Childhood, Culture and the First World War” (2011-2016) (Leverhulme Trust).
