Maciej Turek, Ph.D.

Maciej Turek, Ph.D.

 

Dr. Turek holds degrees in American Studies and political science, having obtained his doctoral degree in political science from the Jagiellonian University in 2012. He has been a grantee of the Copernicus Society of America (Dickinson College, United States, 2008), participant in the Jagiellonian University's Society-Environment-Technology program (ICPSR Summer Program, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, United States, 2013 and Essex Summer School in Social Science Data Analysis, University of Essex, the United Kingdom, 2015), and also received research grants from the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies at the Free Universität Berlin (2009 and 2014) and the Kosciuszko Foundation (George Mason University, 2017). In spring 2020, Dr. Turek was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester (USA). Since September 2020, he has been TransAtlantic Studies programme coordinator.
