What is the admissions process?

The admission process for International Migrations 2nd degree (studies in Polish) at the Institute of American Studies and Polish Diaspora takes place through our Online Application System (IRK). More information on admissions can be found at the Admissions Department website.

Are you studying sociology, anthropology, law, journalism, international relations, history, geography, economics, political science, cultural studies or neo-philology? Want to become an expert in international migration and refugee migration? Want to understand the past and most recent dimensions of ethnic, cultural and religious diversity? If so, then International Migrations 2nd degree are just for you

This two-year study programme will give you knowledge about (among others):
•    Modern waves of refugees
•    Challenges of migration policies
•    Public debate on the causes and effects of migration
•    Issues of multiculturalism and the evolution of national states
•    Identity transformations under conditions of migration

After your studies?

Our graduates become professionals who can explain and interpret complex migration processes. The acquired knowledge and skills allow them to work in NGOs working for the benefit of minorities, government and local government institutions, research centers, cultural institutions, PR agencies, media and international corporations.
