Popular music studies research group was created to integrate a community of Polish popular music studies scholars, and to provide a mutual support for its members in their research activities.
Its main activities include discussion meetings, grant applications, publications, and a variety of events held. The Group has an interdisciplinary, intercultural and interprofessional character, bringing together scholars affiliated with various higher educational institutions, independent scholars, and experts in the field of popular music.
Research Group’s activities are also open for student and doctoral presence, which are contributing to developing contemporary trends in popular music studies.
