The aim of the seminar is to analyze the problems faced by great Latin American metropolises. A brief historical introduction will give rise to a discussion on the current challenges related to both housing and security during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The seminar will be attended by scientists representing both the Department of Latin America of the Jagiellonian University and researchers conducting their research in renowned academic centers in Lima, Tiujana and Sao Paulo.
