Fireside Chats are back - and we're excited to invite you for a meeting in a whole new format... where geographic distances no longer matter!
As the new season of our open discussions kicks off, we introduce a special edition of well-known Fireside Chats: an event organized in cooperation with TransAtlantic Studies and held entirely in English. During our first meeting, there will certainly be plenty of topics to talk about - here we are approaching the end of 2020, and the theme will be the future of America and the world!
Our special guests will be lecturers of the Jagiellonian University: Dr. Wojciech Michnik and Dr. Patrick Vaughan; the meeting will be hosted by Oliwia Pazdalska, American Studies undergraduate. As always, for the second part of the evening the floor will be open - and you simply can't miss it!
For the purposes of this and all upcoming online Fireside Chats, we have prepared a special team on the MS Teams platform - students of the Jagiellonian University can join it via a link (https://bit.ly/3owbElZ; sending us a request to join) or a code (5y0oqcz; without waiting for our approval). Due to the current terms, adding accounts registered outside the JU organisation is only possible manually - if that's your case, complete this short form to join us (https://forms.gle/5RSHnBV3zTeSkyGXA).
In January we'll return to the Polish-language format, but we already hope that you'll enjoy the Transatlantic Edition and it'll become a permanent feature in the 2021 Fireside Chats calendar.
So far - see you on Thursday, December 17!
