We are pleased to announce that the Kościuszko Foundation has selected the winning book of this year's competition for the best academic publication on American affairs published in 2019.

The Foundation awarded Prof. Andrzej Mania Ph.D., D.Sc. with a special prize for his outstanding academic publication, "Departament of State i Foreign Service w polityce zagranicznej USA lat gorącej i zimnej wojny 1939-1989. Professor Andrzej Mania is a historian and political scientist, specializing in contemporary international relations, history of the twentieth century, and the history of American diplomacy.
